The second exhibition in the Vesna Parun Homeland Museum brings new photographs from the mid-twentieth century, taken with Milan Pavić’s camera, a giant of Croatian photography. The American P.S.A. Journal named him as one of the eighty best photographers in the world in 1953.
The International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) gave him an honorary title Hon EFIAP in 1954. and the Photographer Union of Yugoslavia named him a master of photography in 1958.
The exhibition is called “Life by the seashore”, and the greatest number of displayed photos were made during Pavić’s two visits to Zlarin.
The opening will take place on Friday, July 25th at 9 p.m. and will be open until July 31st.
