The summer school of photography will be organized on the beautiful island of Zlarin this year as well. It’s intended for ground- and mid-school students and is organized by the Photo-Theatre Union of Zagreb.
Amazed by the unspoiled nature of the island, its preserved Dalmatian touch, the locals’ hospitality and understanding for the young photographer’s enthusiasm and excellent service in hotel Koralj, there was no dilemma in choosing this year’s summer school location.
Unlike last year, because of growing interest, two groups were organized with a total of 36 children attending the course from July 5th to July 19th, 2014.
The first part of the course will be theoretical in nature and held in hotel Koralj, but most of the course will be based on field work with given subjects (panorama, portrait, night photography…) and work analysis.
The best photographs are being displayed in Vladimir Horvat gallery in Zagreb, in the premises of the Zagreb Technical Culture Union. The exhibition is well visited and serves as great promotion of the island.
